Monogramed YSL

Hey there,

As you know I am a magazine freak I read so many different magazines each month I can't keep track! Well I got the August Vogue (Australian) last night (with Natalie Portman on the cover) and it had this article '50 Ways to Glamorise your Life' now most of these are mega expensive, ie. buy a boat, a Kelly Bag etc. But there was one ' 23. Have an It Bag named after you' - yes I know we are not all Kate Moss and I scoffed as I read this but I read on and this is what it said! 'Order a Yves Saint Laurent Muse bag at Neiman Marcus and have it personalised with two initials!' MONOGRAMED YSL!!!!! I could not believe it! The whole word is turning preppy! Isn't it great! This is the bag (below) and the initials go on either side of the clasp/padlock at the top!

You should get the magazine the article is seriously interesting! It has inspired me to Re-organise my Wardrobe, Go out and buy false eyelashes (perhaps!), Do something about my stationery and organise my photos. So go out and buy Vogue! I mean it its a great read this month!

I also was reading Shopaholics Anon Blog and there was a post on Polkadots which I must say I love anyway but one of the pictures used was one of Carmen Electra who I have decided is by far my favourite Celeb. I think she is so stylish, out there but at the same time elegant in a way!

Nautical Shoes

Hey there,

I love your new shoes especially the navy ones! Love them I saw these ones the other day and I am loving them?Job Interview on Thursday with Heliworks as a Receptionist. I'm watching JFK! Good to speak to you yesterday. Not doing much today. Glad you like the Early Childhood idea I just have to wait for the information and forms and then we will go from there. I got a new top from Jay Jays the other day like these except mine is white.

I WENT SHOPPING THE OTHER DAY...

I brought a silver belcher bracelet kinda like this one (stewart dawsons had a sale lol), but much better!

And on my search for the ultimate skinny jeans, i brought these roxy ones... (not quite the same - the style i brought are called 'my goodies' - but very similar to these)

Whilst on my big shopping spree, i also purchased a (or maybe two pairs lol :-p) of cute shoes, tieing in with the oh-so-cool latest nautical trend...

The blue pair on the left are from the warehouse ($7....what a bargin!), and the lil cuties on the right are from just jeans.

News from Queenstown

Hey there,

Hmmm....news I watched Derailed last night ( starring Clive Owen ! ) and to begin with I thought it wasn't going to be very good but well I was surprised it was very clever you have to get it out - I mean that! What else well I have decided I want to be a Kindy Teacher so I am (fingers crossed) enroling! Enrol ment ends in October so I have some time to scope out a suitable Kindy near by to work for part time! I am really exicited I think this could be the ONE for me HAHA! I can't think of a better career for me I mean they pay you to play with kids and make cupcakes and read stories and paint and play with playdoh!

Some new Louis Vuitton things in the Queenstown store take a look these are my favourite two...

Cute huh? Anyway I better fly :) Oh I got your letter yesterday and I will write back today if I remember which shouldnt be hard.

Cold day in Queenstown

How are you? Glad to see you are loving the Lilly too!!! It's just such my favourite brand at the minute they are such happy pieces : ). I am actually planning on doing a little shopping today from home Ezibuy has a new catalogue I got last night and some of it was actually really nice..take a look I am sure you will agree some of these are really nice... I am into their new nautical stuff..

I am planning on getting the above striped top and the jeans and cardigan below and all that for under $100 - good huh!

They also do this other cute brand called Emerge and this is their latest looks ( thats I liked )!

Man it was easier and quicker when you just lived down the road! Anyways let me know if you like!? Better go...shopping to do! Glad to hear you sent a letter. I got one from John in the UK yesterday!

I'm loving Lilly Too...

Hey Rach,
So after looking at your pics... I just had to check out the website for myself... and this was my fav (just wish I had the occasion to wear it!)

And I've also found this paper which i thought you'd just love...

Cute Eh? The one on the top right reminded me of that paper we made in accounting, do you remember that - right at the start of when argile was cool.

But my latest must have... just haven't worked out yet how i'm quite going to get one, it the primp bunny thermal! :-)

Which would go nicely with the new jeans and shoes i've decided I that I also want ( lol.... so much for tryna save eh, ah wel... you only live once! )

Lilly Lovers Part Two

Loved the photos but where were they taken because I didn't recognise the places?! You looked to lovely : ) ! Not so sure about the John Deere Polo! Rather odd but at least its a polo.

Oooool when are you coming up to Chch, you have to come and stay AT LEAST one night for sure, its been months since i've seen you?

On the subject of nifty (hehe - i said 'nifty') things, i really like the idea of a guestbook, howd you manage that?

Hi

Well whats new with Pink Cupcakes...I have added and changed our Links and Blogs We Are Reading I am totally loving some people's blogs - a new one to add is Monogram Momma I will add it after this - I love it! And I totally understand the love of Martha! Ditto on that! Another new one I have added is Capitol Hill Barbie which isn't preppy but I just love it! We also now have a GuestBook!

Oh I have two more pictures to add to my Lilly post on the 2nd of June !! I am in love with this clutch and also loving this belt although don't know about the whole tortise shell style belt ring?!

Also I have added Rachael's Top 20 Actors which was a result of a) a movieathon and b) boredom! Check it out!

Heya Rach,

Been forever and ever since i've put a post on here, but its the HOLIDAYS now so thought i better get in touch :-)
So hows the job hunt going since your last post? I gota payrise (finally!!!) $10.90... oooo baby!
Been soooo busy lately, doesn't even feel like i'm off school, have 2 internals to do over the holz then start a 10wk one on the first day back and exams next term!

So have I told you the latest with my knee? Aparently I'm going to need an operation cos i've torn the cartilage or something, so it's off to the gym every single day for me! Spose only good things can come from that eh?!
I went shopping yesterday with mum tho (mwahaha lol) and brought a stripey cream and grey top with little domes down the front and this white hoodie by Volcom with little black anchors all over it and 3 huge black buttons from the neckline to about halfway down the front - a lil weird sounding i kno, but loving the whole nautical theme lol.

So the big formals all over *sigh* kinda a lil relief cos its just soooo much effort to organise ones self eh !
