The First 2007 Post

Well its been weeks since I last blogged...because of Christmas and New Year etc. I have been keeping up-to-date with reading other blogs though. I see Preppy Cafe has closed up and I am so upset! It was the first blog I ever read and I checked it religiously. University starts back in only 5 weeks. So I am very excited about that, don't know if I am looking forward to the 6 hour car journey up there (again). I have been shopping like mad for all the things I want for my new (dorm) room. EVERYTHING is pink and green or so it seems. I will take some before and after photos I hope and put them online so everyone can have a laugh about the abuse of pink and green. Haven't been much else recently I bought some new jeans yesterday and other than that everything is for the room or for uni. I did buy a whole new make-up set (mascara, foundation, lipgloss x 2, nail polish x 2) for uni also all of it Natio - love it!

My Christmas Wish List

Well the Christmas Tree is up and Rudolf shaped biscuits in spicy flavours are already popping up around the house. Cards have been posted and presents for almost everyone have been bought so I thought I would let you in on what I have popped on my Christmas List!

Christmas

Well I went and posted all my Christmas Cards today and I posted my presents to the Uk. So all I have to do now is New Zealand Presents next week and Family Presents the week after that. I feel so organised ha! Decided not to put the Christmas tree and decorations up till next weekend though. Supposed to be going out for 'drinks' tonight with a friend so I am off to go do my hair and get some clothes together. Oh I have almost finished my Top Twenty Preppy Picks for 2006". I am rele excited about it. Hope every one likes the new set out for the blog as well.

Bloom Gifts

I was having a quick look at the Bloom Website (see Cosmetics Links) for some Christmas Gift Ideas I am going down to Queenstown this weekend to pick some gifts up hopefully and I saw these cute wee stocking fillers. I was looking for a recipe for Choc Chip Cookies the other day for Christmas and I found this one of the Martha Stewart Website - so I will be giving them a go hopefully this weekend but don't they just look yummy!

Magazines and Dessert!

Well as most of you know I love my magazines and I have just moved to Wanaka and found that the local Paper Plus does NOT stock one of my all time favourites! Glamour Uk so I may have to have a little talk with them about this considering some of the other things they do stock.

They do however stock all my other ''usuals'' -

Vogue - Oz

Vogue Entertaining and Travel - also Oz and Marie Claire.


Anyways as for the Dessert part of the title I found the most amazing yogurts and mousse's ever. They are made by Fruche. These are the only ones I will eat and thankfully the local New World Supermarket DOES stock them in lots of yummy favours.

My current favourites are:

and their new Frousse - which is a mousse which can be popped in the freezer or normal in the fridge - I am loving their -
